American Cabaret is American Belly dance that uses a fusion of several different styles of dance blended together to form this modernized version of belly dance. The movements are big, the costuming is a glamorous, many styles and movements are utilized including floor work.
Turkish Folk Dance is a troupe dance done with a deep sense of community; it is a tribal Middle Eastern dance and not typically considered or called a belly dance style. The movements are usually joyful and celebratory. The most popular dance is the Karsilima, but the Halay, Zeybek and Haron are also well known.
